Baseball Recap: Nestucca Wins Going Away Against Eddyville

Nestucca never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Eddyville on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 22-2 margin over the Eagles.

Brady Hurliman and Nolan Hurlimann made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Hurliman pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Hurlimann struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). At the plate, Hurliman scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Hurlimann scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Hurliman a new career-high in RBI (three).

In other batting news, Owen Love was a standout: he scored four runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Jace Jensen was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
