Soccer Recap: Rancho Bernardo Comes Up Short

Rancho Bernardo fell victim to San Pasqual and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the San Pasqual Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked eighth).

Rancho Bernardo dropped their record down to 8-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for San Pasqual, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Rancho Bernardo nor San Pasqual have any future games scheduled.
