Basketball Recap: Marysville Takes a Loss

Marysville lost against Chippewa Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Marysville Vikings took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chippewa Valley Big Reds. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Big Reds are ranked 113th).

Marysville's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Chippewa Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Marysville has already played their next contest, a 45-28 defeat against Fraser on the 7th. Chippewa Valley has also already played their next match (against Lutheran Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
