Volleyball Recap: Leola/Frederick Comes Up Short

Leola/Frederick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the North Central Thunder, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Leola/Frederick ultimately came up short, they really made North Central work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 26-16.

Leola/Frederick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North Central, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Leola/Frederick and Webster will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for North Central, they will square off against Redfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
