Basketball Game Preview: Cosby Eagles vs. North Greene Huskies

The Cosby Eagles will take on the North Greene Huskies on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Cosby didn't have too much trouble with Hampton as they won 58-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Greene). They blew past Hancock County, posting a 77-14 win. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Cosby's victory bumped their record up to 16-17. As for North Greene, their win bumped their record up to 25-6.

Cosby beat North Greene 46-39 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
