Manasquan won the last time they faced Point Pleasant Beach and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Garnet Gulls with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Warriors have won six games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Manasquan has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Point Pleasant Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.
