Davis Aerospace Tech has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Douglass Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Davis Aerospace Tech posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 51-16 victory over Academy of the Americas.
Davis Aerospace Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jontae Brooks, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Myron Dean, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Douglass scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-41 win over Osborn on the road. The win was just what Douglass needed coming off of a 92-46 loss in their prior contest.
Davis Aerospace Tech pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.67 points. As for Douglass, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.
