Soccer Game Preview: Arroyo vs. Kennedy

The Arroyo Dons will square off against the Kennedy Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Arroyo is headed into their match with Kennedy looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against American on Tuesday. Neither the Dons nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jonathan Rodriguez-Palafox and Eric Ocampo scored both of Arroyo's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Kennedy was not quite Hayward's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Farmers by a score of 1-0. Kennedy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Arroyo was able to grind out a solid victory over Kennedy in their previous matchup back in November of 2016, winning 3-1. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
