Bolton Central snaps five-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Bolton Central Eagles vs. Keene Central Beavers

The Bolton Central Eagles suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They suffered a tough 68-46 defeat at the hands of Keene Central. It was the first time this season that Bolton Central let down their fans at home.

Bolton Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Andy Morehouse, who scored seven points. Liam Foy was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Keene Central was led to victory by Asa Sprague and Vann Morrelli. Sprague scored 18 points, while Morrelli scored 18 points. Morrelli hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Peter Robjent, who scored 12 points.

Bolton Central's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4. As for Keene Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolton Central will square off against Lake Placid at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Placid is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Keene Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Crown Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crown Point is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
