Round Mountain proved they can win big last Friday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tonopah Muckers, sneaking past 3-2. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Muckers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Round Mountain was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 24-26, 14-25, 25-17, 15-7.

Round Mountain's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Tonopah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Round Mountain will square off against rival Indian Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tonopah is set to face off against their familiar foe Beatty at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
