Soccer Game Preview: Sierra Pacific vs. Immanuel

The Sierra Pacific Golden Bears will head out on the road to take on the Immanuel Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Sierra Pacific was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Valley Christian, taking the game 3-1. Sierra Pacific haven't had any issues with Central Valley Christian recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hanford West kept up with Immanuel until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Huskies. The result was nothing new for Immanuel, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Carter Zulik and Rocco DeGraw scored all three of Immanuel's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Sierra Pacific's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-5. As for Immanuel, their win bumped their record up to 11-5-1.

Sierra Pacific skirted past Immanuel 3-2 in their previous matchup on January 13th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Bears since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
