It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tampa Catholic had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tampa Catholic took every set by at least 17 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-7, 25-8.

The win made it two in a row for Tampa Catholic and bumps their season record up to 15-11. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they moved to 9-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coming up, Tampa Catholic will square off against Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
