Basketball Recap: Kettle Falls Takes a Loss

Kettle Falls lost against Northwest Christian School back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kettle Falls Bulldogs were beaten by the Northwest Christian School Crusaders 77-50. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Crusaders are ranked 68th).

Leading Northwest Christian School to victory were Caleb Grant and Avi West. Grant went 8 of 9 en route to 20 points, while West went 8 for 19 on his way to 22 points. West's evening made it 30 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Shamblin, who posted eight points.

Kettle Falls has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Northwest Christian School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Kettle Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 39-33 loss against Chewelah on the 6th. As for Northwest Christian School, they have also already played their next match, a 77-52 victory against St. George's on the 6th.
