Newport Harbor came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Edison Chargers. That's more bragging rights for the Sailors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Newport Harbor's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Newport Harbor will take on San Clemente in a tournament on Saturday. As for Edison, they will face off against Dana Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
