Fayette Academy entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent on Thursday with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with  a  70-45 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  matches by 21  points or more this season.
Fayette Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Harris Armour, who  went 7 of 15  on his way to 21 points and four  steals. That's the most  steals  Armour has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Clay Anderson, who  went 6 of 10  on his way to 14 points in addition to seven  assists and five  boards.
 Fayette Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in six consecutive  games.
Fayette Academy's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-4.
 Fayette Academy will challenge University School of Jackson at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  an  82-27  loss against King's Academy on the 9th.
