Softball Recap: Mingus Comes Up Short

Mingus was the 12-10 winner over Bradshaw Mountain when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Mingus fell just short of Bradshaw Mountain by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Marauders have suffered against the Bears since April 12, 2022.

Maddison Lusebrink made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Mingus' record is now 3-3. As for Bradshaw Mountain, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Mingus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 loss against Lee Williams on the 25th. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against ALA - Queen Creek on the 22nd.
