Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Takes a Loss

Pendleton County lost against Paris last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 13-3 to the Greyhounds. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caleb Biddle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Micah Biddle was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Paris, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Pendleton County will be playing at home against Nicholas County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Paris, they will square off against Thomas Nelson at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Greyhounds are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Generals a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
