Basketball Game Preview: Christiana Vikings vs. Appoquinimink Jaguars

The Christiana Vikings will take on the Appoquinimink Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christiana will be strutting in after a victory while Appoquinimink will be coming in after a defeat.

If Christiana beats Appoquinimink with 52 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Christiana simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Newark 52-6. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Appoquinimink duked it out withHoward on Tuesday. Appoquinimink fell 51-42 to Howard. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Wildcats are ranked fourth).

This is the second loss in a row for Appoquinimink and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Christiana, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.
