Baseball Game Preview: Owosso Trojans vs. Clio Mustangs

For the second straight game, Owosso will face off against Clio. The Trojans will head out to challenge the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Owosso is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Owosso barely beat Clio the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Mustangs 13-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Ryan Maier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Maier was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Owosso's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.
