Baseball Recap: Pomona Panthers vs. Conifer Lobos
Pomona waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Conifer Lobos. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lobos, too.
Truett Neiman and Tyler Sherill dominated on the mound. Neiman pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Sherill pitched six innings while giving up five earned runs off seven hits. Neiman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
