It was a good run, but Balko/Forgan unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turpin Cardinals. While Balko/Forgan didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Turpin 13-8 in the first quarter.

Several Balko/Forgan players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tenley Mulbery, who posted eight points. Mulbery also put up a block, which washer first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brya Appelhans, who had nine points and seven boards.

Balko/Forgan's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Turpin, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Balko/Forgan will take on Vici at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Balko/Forgan is facing Vici at the right time seeing as Vici is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Turpin, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Turpin Cardinals face off against the Arnett Wildcats at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday.
