Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Chester County Eagles
Trinity Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They breezed by the Chester County Eagles to the tune of 57-30. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 25 point advantage.
Trinity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tori Robinson led the charge by posting 14 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. Those six assists gave Robinson a new career-high. Mary Grace Cleek was another key player, going 7 for 10 en route to 14 points plus two steals.
A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Trinity Christian Academy Lions take on the Bolivar Central Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chester County, they will look to take advantage of their home-court for the first time this season as they take on South Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
