North Montgomery barely beat Bethesda Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargin' Chargers blew past the Patriots 12-1 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Chargin' Chargers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Piper Ramey made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Ramey was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ella McManomy, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kendra McClamroch, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

North Montgomery's record now sits at 2-0. As for Bethesda Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
