Basketball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard lost against Cross Creek back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies had to suffer through an 87-28 loss at the hands of the Razorbacks. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Howard and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Cross Creek, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Howard and Cross Creek could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Huskies will take on Randolph-Clay at 6:30 p.m. on the 31st with a big rank disadvantage (390 vs. 186). Meanwhile, Cross Creek (ranked 30th) will meet Grayson (ranked fourth) at 8:30 p.m. on the 26th.
