Softball Recap: Banneker Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Banneker walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Bell Griffins with a sharp 22-3 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Bulldogs have won three games by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Banneker, bringing their record up to 6-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Banneker has already played their next matchup, a 19-10 loss against School Without Walls on the 1st. Bell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
