Basketball Recap: Raton's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Des Moines, Raton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Walsenburg Panthers by a score of 36-25. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 27-18 loss the last time these two teams met.

Raton moved to 3-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Walsenburg, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Raton will welcome Trinidad at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walsenburg, they will head out to challenge Hoehne at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
