Volleyball Game Preview: St. Clairsville Red Devils vs. Union Local Jets

St. Clairsville hasn't had much luck against Union Local recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Red Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the Jets at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, St. Clairsville came up short against Beaver Local and fell 3-1. While the Red Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Beavers 25-17 in the first set.

St. Clairsville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Union Local suffered their biggest defeat since September 13th on Thursday. They came up short against Caldwell, falling 3-0.

While Union Local ultimately came up short, they really made Caldwell work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 25-19.

St. Clairsville's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Union Local, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.

St. Clairsville might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Union Local in their previous matchup last Thursday. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
