After only seven points in their last contest, Plant made sure to put some points up on the board against Sickles on Friday. The Panthers really took it to the Gryphons for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Gryphons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Plant, racking up 26 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Davie Rolle, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from Darryon Williams.

Plant's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Mark Del Cukut, Hudson Hills, and Charlie Sansone, who each picked up one sack apiece. Cedric Rogers got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Plant's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sickles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Plant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-13 win against Steinbrenner on the 31st. As for Sickles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 49-3 defeat against Spoto on the 31st.
