North Montgomery was sadly handed a loss on Wednesday, but Cade Cole did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Cole as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Cole and North Montgomery will host Parke Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
