Basketball Recap: Fort Recovery Skates Past Triad with Ease

Fort Recovery saw some tournament action on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 48-19 win over the Triad Cardinals. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Cardinals are ranked 708th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Triad's loss came despite strong showings from Mia Lemay and Abbey Overfield. Lemay posted six points and six rebounds, while Overfield scored two points and five boards.

Fort Recovery's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Triad, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Fort Recovery nor Triad have any future games scheduled.
