Perry-Lecompton had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Riley County Falcons by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Kaws: when they faced off against the Falcons on Thursday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

While Perry-Lecompton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Riley County scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Macie Corcoran paced Perry-Lecompton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Corcoran got some help from Emmy Reed and her 18 assists. Charley Blosser controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Perry-Lecompton's record now sits at 19-13. As for Riley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-14.

Perry-Lecompton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Atchison on the 11th. As for Riley County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Holton on the 14th.
