Northwestern Area had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Leola/Frederick Titans on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won 13 matches in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northwestern Area was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-9.

Ashley Haven paced Northwestern Area's offense, picking up 14 kills. Haven got some help from Ella Boekelheide and her 21 assists. Sophia Troske controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Northwestern Area's victory bumped their record up to 33-2. As for Leola/Frederick, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Northwestern Area will face off against Aberdeen Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leola/Frederick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
