Soccer Game Preview: Atlantic vs. Dreyfoos School of the Arts

The Atlantic Eagles will face off against the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Atlantic's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Atlantic is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Santaluces on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Dreyfoos School of the Arts managed to keep up with Dr. Joaquin Garcia until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Dreyfoos School of the Arts came up short against Dr. Joaquin Garcia, falling 4-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. Atlantic's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-1.

Atlantic might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Dreyfoos School of the Arts in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can Atlantic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
