The Morristown Yellow Jackets are on the road again on Friday and plays the Oldenburg Academy Twisters at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. Hopefully Morristown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
With a playoff game on the line, Morristown rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took down the Spartans 65-51. The win was just what Morristown needed coming off of a 66-39 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morristown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Keithley, who scored 15 points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that Keithley scored 15 or more points. William Snyder was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Oldenburg Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 57-45 to Lawrenceburg. While losing is never fun, Oldenburg Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while Lawrenceburg is ranked 115th).
Morristown's victory bumped their record up to 5-18. As for Oldenburg Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
