Los Altos is 8-1 against Wilcox since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will welcome the Chargers at 6:45 p.m. Los Altos is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Los Altos had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Fremont on Wednesday. The Eagles blew past the Firebirds 3-0.

While Los Altos won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Wilcox sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Mountain View on Wednesday.

Wilcox was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-97), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 14-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Los Altos pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Wilcox, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
