            Softball Recap: Kearsarge Cougars vs. Bishop Brady Giants        
        
		
        
        
            Kearsarge had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-9 to make it nine. They came up short against  the Bishop Brady Giants, falling  18-4. The Cougars were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Giants from their previous meeting  back in May of 2016.
 Kearsarge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Mya Atwood 2028, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI. Those  RBI marked the first that  Atwood 2028 has  brought in this season.
As for Bishop Brady, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2-1. The  matchup marked their most dominant  victory of the  season.
 On Bishop Brady's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Kimble Rose, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  six  RBI gave  Rose a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reese Henry, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and four  runs.
While Kearsarge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
