Volleyball Recap: Henderson County Triumphs

Henderson County posted their closest victory since September 21, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Metcalfe County Hornets 2-1.

Despite the loss, Metcalfe County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amelia Slinker had 16 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Slinker.

Henderson County's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Metcalfe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Henderson County will challenge Christian County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Metcalfe County, they will face off against Barren County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
