Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce Comes Up Short

Head-Royce and Redwood squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Head-Royce had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Giants.

Head-Royce came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 25-22.

Head-Royce's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Redwood, they pushed their record up to 25-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Head-Royce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redwood, they will square off against Irvington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
