Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mamaroneck couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks on the road by a 28-14 margin on Saturday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Saratoga Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Benjamin Coryea, who rushed for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Coryea showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 64 yards. Bobby Morris was another key player, rushing for 35 yards and one TD.

Mamaroneck's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Saratoga Springs, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Mamaroneck does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saratoga Springs, they will challenge Christian Brothers Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Brothers' defense has only allowed 8.9 points per game this season, so the Blue Streaks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
