League recap: Vermillion winning streak up to 11 games

Vermillion (13-1, 7-0) has won 11 games in a row, B Region I - East's longest active win streak. In the past week, the Tanagers won another two games, including a 9-4 victory over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton/Woonsocket.

Vermillion made the biggest jump in the national rankings, moving from 3443 to 2224 thanks to a 2-0 record over the past week. The Tanagers are currently sitting at No. 4 in the state of South Dakota, thanks to an overall record of 13-1.
