Riverside Christian extends road losing streak to six

Recap: Riverside Christian Wranglers vs. St. John Lutheran Saints

This season hasn't been kind to the Riverside Christian Wranglers, who are still winless after their 11th match. The New Year welcomed they with a 63-16 whooping from St. John Lutheran on Friday. Riverside Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Leading St. John Lutheran to victory were Kayla joy Bowen and Gracie Sue Rice. Bowen scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and four steals, while Rice dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Arisa Ford, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Riverside Christian's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-11. As for St. John Lutheran, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Riverside Christian will be playing at home against Bell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Thursday. St. John Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lake Weir at 12:30 p.m. on January 6th. Lake Weir is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
