Softball Recap: Ridge View Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ridge View took an 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Newell-Fonda, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raptors had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Raptors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Ridge View's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Newell-Fonda, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge View will welcome Lawton-Bronson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newell-Fonda, they will be playing at home against Storm Lake St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
