Volleyball Recap: Martinsburg Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Hedgesville

Martinsburg faced Hedgesville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat on Tuesday.

Martinsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Hedgesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3-3 record this season.
