Softball Recap: Olympus Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olympus can now relate to. They came up short against the Box Elder Bees on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Titans, who until this game were averaging 3.48 runs allowed.

Charlotte Comer was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

Olympus' defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Box Elder, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3.

Olympus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-8 victory against Taylorsville on the 20th. As for Box Elder, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-7 loss against Salem Hills on the 20th.
