Basketball Recap: Health Profession Comes Up Short

On Monday, Health Profession took a blow against the Wagner Falcons, falling 69-32. While losing is never fun, Health Profession can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 594th, while Wagner is ranked 278th).

Health Profession dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wagner, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Health Profession has already played their next game (against Stuyvesant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wagner will challenge Tottenville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tottenville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three contests.
