Kamiakin faced Richland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Braves blew past the Bombers 9-2. Considering the Braves have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kamiakin's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Richland, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kamiakin will challenge rival Pasco at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Richland is set to face off against their familiar foe Chiawana at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
