Conner has gone a perfect 10-0 against Scott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cougars will square off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Conner can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home two weeks ago. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Walton-Verona. The Cougars have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Scott suffered their closest loss since April 23, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Ryle by a score of 6-4.

Scott saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andy Reed, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Conner beat Scott 6-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
