It was a good run, but Natomas unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin Patriots, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Nighthawks have suffered since March 10th.

Natomas couldn't get the win, but they sure gave John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 30-28.

Marion Moreland paced Natomas' offense, picking up nine kills. Moreland got some help from Josiah Xiong and his 16 assists. Finally, Donovan Green kept Natomas' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Natomas' loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
