Basketball Preview: Linganore Lancers vs. North Hagerstown Hubs
After two games on the road, Linganore is heading back home. They will take on the North Hagerstown Hubs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Linganore beat the Patriots 47-43.
Linganore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dylan Hodgson led the charge by scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Petruzzello, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Oakdale scored an imposing 72 points on Tuesday, North Hagerstown still came out on top. North Hagerstown secured a 78-72 W over the. The win was just what North Hagerstown needed coming off of a 74-41 defeat in their prior matchup.
Linganore's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for North Hagerstown, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
