Bishop Canevin's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chartiers-Houston 32-0. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 395th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Serra Catholic took a blow against Cornell on Friday, falling 47-18.

Serra Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bishop Canevin, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Bishop Canevin against Serra Catholic in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-0 victory. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
